here\'s this dirty old city
ready to attack
this is me in the middle
ready to fight back
some are verbally vicious
while some are silent stones
some make me quite suspicious
they chill me to the bone
still surrounded by tension
and animosity
i face their intervention
step lightly and stay free
friendly voices are welcome
but so extremely rare
