MY EGO

My ego is standing in the doorway
It has so much to control and say
Its been there so long, occupied the place
I want it to move, I need the space

The space for my true self to grow
I want my inner light to start glow
When I put the ego at the side
There is possible for true love to spread out wide

I will not stand in the way of myself no more
I want to spend time in my heart, not the head as before
I clear up the room, I open the door
I let God move in, and I am not alone anymore
