You sleep lightly in your hibernation
I touch your wings gently
and see how my warmth leaves a trail in the frost on the wing

The Spring sleeps with you
like a pillow of green
in the wait for warmth
running water
blossoming flowers

as much do I long
to see you fly
from flowers

to my hand
sit on my fingertip

You are like mercury
beautifully dazling
on distance
hard to catch

Soon the heat is here
yet it is winter
the snow shelters you
in a soft embrace

come to me then
with the spring to me
let your wings caress my chin before you rest at me
